A Little 3D-Printed Toy I Had Made on eBay

I was browsing eBay the other day and stumbled on this Offline Dino desk figure.

I know there’s an official version of it, but this one’s a 3D print, and way cheaper.

So I ordered one. Turns out the seller isn’t a real shop or anything, just some guy who does this as a hobby. Since each one gets printed to order, it takes a while. He messaged me on his own to ask if I wanted text engraved on the dino, and we went back and forth on the font and the color of the dino itself.

About a week later it was done. Up close it looks a little rough, but from a distance it holds up fine.

The seller apologized too, since the listing said about 3 days and it ended up taking almost 5. Didn’t bother me. The price was reasonable, and compared to the “official” one it’s a hell of a lot cheaper — under 50 yuan total.

Pretty fun. Maybe I should buy a 3D printer one of these days.
