Swapping My iQunix Aluminum USB Drive
Last time I bought an iQunix USB drive, only I carelessly picked black and found out it wasn’t metal at all.
I figured black was fine, black it is. Then later I complained about it on X and the company got in touch, saying I could pay the 20 yuan difference and swap for the metal version.
Thought it over. Sure, why not.
So in the end the metal one arrived anyway.

Took me a while to confirm it really is metal, but the feel isn’t as good as I imagined. Probably because there’s still a plastic layer inside, though you can’t tell once the cap’s on.
If anything the speed actually seems better.

Whatever. At least it beats the black one. iQunix really does have a conscience, and the whole “aluminum factory” nickname makes sense — anything they make that isn’t aluminum just feels a bit off.
