Replacing the PBT Keycaps on a Ducky 2108s

The stock keycaps had gone shiny and were collecting grime, to the point where they were about to fall apart, so I picked up a cheaper set of PBT keycaps on Taobao for 140 yuan. Bonus: the PBT caps are translucent on their own.

They arrived neatly packed.

Black keyboard plus white keycaps somehow looks way better than it has any right to.

Shame they stop looking good once the backlight comes on. That said, the white caps are actually easy to read in low light, so there’s not much need to keep the backlight on anyway.

As for how PBT feels — first time using it, and honestly it’s great. Makes me want to re-cap all my other keyboards with PBT too.
