Logitech G700s
Why’d I buy this thing?
Simple — the G602 just wasn’t doing it for me…
Honestly I wanted the G700s from the start. The G602 felt stuck in the middle, but in the end I settled for it for the battery life. Turns out the G602’s middle click is pretty mid, and there’s another problem: the G602 isn’t big enough. My hands are big, nothing I can do about it.
I was planning to wait for a G700s successor, but Logitech never made one, so I figured why wait. Saw a new low price on a Hong Kong import on eBay and just grabbed it.
Verdict’s easy: good! Big enough, feels great in the hand, and that fancy scroll wheel — this is what a real flagship looks like.

Everything’s great! Except battery life. Haven’t really formed an opinion yet — I’ve already got 12 Eneloops stocked up, hope it’s enough.

As for in-game performance: the G700s’s sensor sits way up top, so it took me a while to adjust, but after that it was easy. Definitely a step up from the G602 in precision.

Played all night and the battery seems fine, not as bad as people say. At least for someone like me who only touches the desktop at night, that’s probably enough. Worst case I’ve got a trackball, a touchpad, and whatever else lying around. Not a problem.
Basically satisfied — especially since it cost so much less than when I first wanted one…
