LOVEREC. -Mini Theaters- (LOVEREC.-ミニシアターズ) Review
LOVEREC. -Mini Theaters-
LOVEREC. -Mini Theaters- is the fandisc for Loverec.
Honestly, LoveRec is a pretty solid game. This fandisc, though? It’s… bone-dry.
The whole thing is 1.95 GB. The story picks up right where the original ended—the protagonist is about to graduate, and the white-haired little sister plans to sell the film she shot at the next C90. Everyone’s trying to make it happen.
Yeah… except that’s just the prologue. The actual filmmaking never comes up.

No OP, no proper ED. Just four short-as-hell scripts, two HCGs per heroine, fuck and done. There’s also a bonus Extra script that comes from a player-made scenario in LoveRec’s Delusion Rec mode—it was a contest winner.
Honestly, that player script is way more fun than the actual fandisc story. Especially the part where they roast the protagonist for not being himself without his camera.

Other than that, there’s basically nothing else. I timed it—two and a half hours, tops. So if you take your time, you’ll finish this fandisc in two and a half hours.
Along with the fandisc, they bundle a massive asset pack for LoveRec’s Delusion Rec Mode scenario editor, letting you import materials for characters from older Alcot games. The asset pack alone is 2 GB, so it honestly feels like you’re buying the assets and getting the FD as a bonus.

Anyway…

Just… treat this as an audio drama. The story feels shorter than an actual audio drama anyway, and the CGs are all just H scenes—nothing else. Alcot’s official promo tweet said the LoveRec FD is only 2500 yen, so please make sure to buy two, three, or even more copies.
The problem is, what’s the point of buying multiple copies of this content…?
