Simple Fix for Screen Tearing on Ubuntu with Intel Graphics

Screen tearing is an old problem, and the fix is simple too:

This only applies to Ubuntu; for Arch and the like, check the Wiki, which has a more detailed write-up:

sudo vim /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf

Create a new file and write in the options:

Section "Device"
   Identifier  "Intel Graphics"
   Driver      "intel"
   Option      "TearFree"    "true"
EndSection

A reboot is all it takes. As for whether it works on NV graphics cards, I’m not sure, but Reddit says it might work for dual-GPU setups.
