Refilling the Ink

So I bought a printer with cheap consumables, but even this thing still squeezes you for every last drop where it can. Meaning…

No ink in the box. You just get one test cartridge.

Good thing the ink really is cheap — dirt cheap on Taobao or JD.

Refilling is dead simple: unscrew the cap, flip it over, and pour it straight in. There’s a special design so it won’t leak out.

Still, I have to marvel at how damn sharp HP’s penny-pinching is. One bottle fills the tank exactly — not a drop to spare…
