ZMI Power Bank
I’ve bought a bunch of power banks before, but they all ended up with my parents. The only one I kept was a Sony, and my mom took that one too.
Lately my Mojo keeps dying on me, so I figured a cheap power bank for emergencies would do the job. Asked around about what batteries are good these days.
At first my demands were a bit much — USB-C fast charging, big capacity, multiple ports. Twitter promptly woke me up: any battery that ticks all those boxes is 600+ yuan. Might as well buy a 90-yuan one.
JD happened to be running a 199 - 100 promo. I didn’t fall for it and just bought a 69-yuan ZMI, in understated red.

Packaging is nothing special and there’s not much inside, but the build quality on this thing is shockingly good. The plastic got an upgrade, the matte shell feels premium, and the red looks great.

Charging speed is fine too. Good-looking and dirt cheap — honestly great value.
No wonder there are so many Miboys out there.
