Pilot 88g Fountain Pen

Call me the pen-losing champion, because I lost the Lamy Alstar again. Damn it.

At this point I don’t even dare take the Lamy 2000 out of the house. Lose that one and I can’t afford a replacement.

So, buy something cheap. Try a different brand. Don’t feel like Lamy anymore — let’s go with Pilot. Word is they’re better suited to writing Asian characters.

I got the Pilot 88g with an F nib. Been using it for a while now.

And honestly? It’s even finer than I expected. As someone with ugly handwriting, this thing is even harder to wrangle.

The fine stuff at the start is the Pilot. Then I switched to the Lamy 2000 and it was way easier to control (still ugly, but the feel was nice). The last few lines are the Pilot again — this thing scratches the paper like crazy.

Whatever. It’s good enough for scribbling out homework and stuff.
