Fried Bread Cubes

A breakfast I stumbled on while randomly watching Japanese cooking videos on YouTube. Takes about 10 minutes.

Ingredients:

  1. Sliced bread
  2. Soy sauce
  3. Eggs
  4. Lettuce
  5. Chicken bouillon

Steps:

  • Dice the bread
  • Beat the eggs
  • Grab a non-stick pan, a tiny bit of oil, low heat. Toss the bread in and stir-fry it first, then pour the beaten egg in a little at a time and keep stir-frying. (You could also soak the bread cubes in the egg first, but that’s too much hassle.)
  • Once it’s all broken up, add a splash of soy sauce and a bit of chicken bouillon.
  • Finally add the chopped lettuce and stir-fry.

Plate it up.

The upside is speed. Goes well with cherry tomatoes, plus milk and cereal.
