Messing Around with the GPD Win

Recently I messed around with the GPD Win. Bought it to play games, but somehow everything I actually play on it is pixel art.

First off, Taobao has skins for the GPD Win now — only one seller, though. My initial thought was that it should fix the GPD Win’s ugly-as-hell looks.

Except this skin is a “beta version,” just like the seller said.

So I went ahead and applied it. It’s passable. Not as good as I imagined.

Then, like an idiot, I upgraded to the Creators Update…

Nothing really broke after the upgrade, except you’ll find Wi-Fi won’t connect anymore. The fix is simple: grab that Wi-Fi region-change patch floating around the forums and it’s sorted.
