Shoji's Kojima Channel Art Book

Buying this was kind of an afterthought, honestly—I’m not a Shoji diehard. I just have some inexplicable fondness for the characters he did in Yuzusoft games.

Mostly because the girls he draws split into two styles, “elegant” and “cute,” and he nails both. Neither has that gratuitous horny vibe. It’s all very fresh and clean.

And it wasn’t expensive, so I grabbed it alongside the CDs.

In hand, it’s way thinner than I expected… well, 600 yen.

There’s not really anything new in it—it’s just the art he draws during his regular drawing streams on YouTube. He’s also uploaded some PSDs on his site, if anyone wants to mess around with them or study them.

It has some character setting sheets for Kojima Channel too. Nothing official saying he’s doing game art, but who knows? He’s got the whole apparatus set up. One day he might just announce it’s a game.

Personally I like the black-long-straight girl. If it does become a game, I just hope they don’t cast Sendai-san as her voice actress.
