Homemade Cookie Gift Boxes

For Mid-Autumn Festival I made a few cookie gift boxes and gave them to friends, including the ones I met up with in Beijing.

I only made two kinds: one was matcha cookies, and the other was marguerite cookies, which I personally think are the best-tasting.

It’s not much hassle, really. You just buy a batch of packaging on eBay — actually, mine wasn’t from eBay. I went to a local baking shop to pick it out. Embarrassing to admit, but when I got there the place was full of girls, and I was the only guy…

And in the end I couldn’t find any other packaging, only mooncake boxes, so I packed the cookies in mooncake boxes. Seems like the response was pretty good though?
