Getting Linux 4.13 on Ubuntu 16.04.3 and Fixing VMware Memory Issues
Advertisement
Kernel Linux 4.13 is out now, and you can install it through the PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:canonical-kernel-team/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install linux-generic-hwe-16.04-edge
After you upgrade to Linux 4.13, you’ll find VMware doesn’t work anymore. It needs some fixing.
