Mi Home Screwdriver

Lately I’ve been feeling like I’m turning into a miboy, though I’m still nowhere near the real deal, Wu Lao Er.

This time it’s Xiaomi’s screwdriver. It’s already up for sale on the official site.

I gave this screwdriver a try, and, well…

Some people say it’s not as good as NANCH’s. Honestly, I don’t think it is either, but I still like it…

Because it looks good!

Yeah, it looks good, so I don’t care about the rest. It’s a bit thin, but it looks good. It doesn’t feel all that sturdy, but it still looks good.

And it’s not just looks: some of the details got real thought put into them. The case pops open with a press when you store it, all the bits are held in magnetically, and they’re labeled in detail, so you can see at a glance what each one is.

So this thing isn’t unusable, but it falls a bit short of NANCH’s. The other details are thoughtful, though, and it looks good, so for someone who doesn’t tear machines apart often, buying one to leave on the desk and flex with is a solid move.
