Matcha Swirl Cookies

I’ve been making cookies for a while, matcha ones too, but this time I tried something different — with a swirl pattern.

The process is the same as regular matcha cookies, just with one extra step: when kneading the cake flour, split it into two portions — add matcha powder to one, leave the other plain.

Then roll each into a log, twist the two together, put it in the mold, freeze for half an hour, and slice.

Tastes exactly the same as the usual ones. Just looks nicer. That’s it.

Oh, and I overbaked this batch, because I was too busy playing ranked and forgot to check the time…
