Onii-chan, Asa made Zutto Gyutte Shite! (お兄ちゃん、朝までずっとギュッてして!) Review
Same Sisters, Endless Onii-chans
A long time ago there was this game that blew up because the title was so ridiculous:
Onii-chan, You Are Forbidden from Using Your Right Hand (お兄ちゃん 右手の使用を禁止します)
It’s a pure siscon game. The protagonist has a name, but his presence is pathetically low. Several sisters orbit around him, and the OP is an absolute earworm.
The game sold because it had a gimmick. That’s it.
Then another one came out. Different title, same playbook:
Onii-chan Teacher I Want a Secret Lesson! (お兄ちゃんティーチャー ~秘密の授業を希望します!)
Still a pure siscon game. The protagonist is now a teacher, still barely there, still surrounded by sisters. The OP is still weird as hell but no longer sticks in your head.
This one felt mid. The dev team was clearly getting restless.
Then a brand-new company appeared: Tinkle Position. Their debut:
Onii-chan, Are You Ready to Kiss? (お兄ちゃん、キッスの準備はまだですか)
Pure siscon again. The protagonist doesn’t even have a name now. The sisters still orbit him, except he’s turned into a kissing maniac. OP still weird, still catchy…
This game, well… it’s… look, it felt familiar. Then you look closer and realize the staff is literally the same crew from the previous two games. They jumped ship to make this full-time.
Then it got an FD:
Onii-chan, Are You Ready to Kiss? Are You Ready for Sex Too? (お兄ちゃん、キッスの準備はまだですか? エッチの準備もまだですか?)
At this point I’m out of things to say. You already know: nameless protagonist, sisters orbiting him, same flavor, same style.
So this year the company dropped another one:
Onii-chan, Hold Me Tight Until Morning! (お兄ちゃん、朝までずっとギュッてして!)
For anyone who can’t read it, let me translate: Onii-chan! Hold me tight until morning!

Honestly, I can picture the entire game from the title alone. Last time the theme was kissing. This time it’s hugging.
The kissing game at least let you participate — even if nobody loves you after you kiss them.

This one lets you participate too. Just hold down the left mouse button and you’ll squeeze the sister tighter and tighter…

The plot could be guessed with your asshole closed. Nameless protagonist lives with his sisters, hugs them every day, hugs them until they end up in bed… that kind of story.
Naturally, I found it even more boring than the previous ones, because the older games at least had some bits in the daily-life sections — anime discussion neta, funny skits, basically manzai comedy.

This new one barely has any of that. Nothing to read, just watch the sister on screen giggle like an idiot. And all the sisters are drawn by the same artist, so they look identical. Their personalities differ, the CVs aren’t famous either, and after a while it’s just dull.
So dull that every time I hug a sister I perversely pick the maximum strength, listen to her moan, watch her panicked face, twitch the mouse, and grin like a creep.

Wow! I feel like a total degenerate.
That said, the game isn’t completely devoid of highlights. For one, the setting gives the protagonist a legitimate reason to hug.

At the start, the brother has a weak body and gets colds and fevers all the time. Then the mother, who does research, says she recently published a paper:
“Hugging boosts the immune system.”
So to prove the paper right, the protagonist has to hug his sisters every day…
Hugging on orders. Hugging to survive. Right when I was about to say “this setup is retarded,” Zhang-chan, a based bro from Canada, reminded me:
“Hugging boosting immunity is actually true.”
So I Googled it and holy shit:

Goddamn, it really is true!
And yet, even with a real reason to hug, the game is still boring. So boring that my main anticipation each time was wondering whether I could strangle a sister to death with a hug…
Obviously you can’t strangle anyone. This isn’t a horror game. You can only hug your sister until she gets wet.
Same sisters, endless onii-chans
There’s really not much to say about the plot. You pick a sister, hug her daily, hug enough and it turns into banging, and at the end there’s no confession or dating or anything. Every sister in the house belongs to the protagonist. No romance, no taboo of forbidden love — just a harem where you flip tiles by hugging. I found no fun in it, and even the premise is less interesting than the original “right hand forbidden” gimmick.

It’s not that the game has zero jokes, but there are too few, and the whole thing is padded to hell. Maybe I just don’t get it because I’m not a siscon?
Honestly, I’m sick of this endless formula:
- Nameless protagonist
- Identical-looking sisters
- Every game invents an excuse for interaction: kissing, headpats, hugs — what’s next, spoon-feeding?
- Flat plot, forgettable voice actresses
And somehow it still sells. How fucking bored do you have to be to buy this?
Question for any Chinese dev team out there: need a scriptwriter for this kind of game? I can churn this shit out on an assembly line.

The only thing that stuck with me was the sister voiced by Mikoshiba Koyori. You probably don’t know the name, but you’ll recognize the voice instantly:
It’s just Fujisaki Usa under a new alias.
Fujisaki Usa probably doesn’t want to be a voice actress anymore — she’s been DJing in Taiwan a lot lately.
“If I were a DJ, would you love me?”

Sorry, no. I was just looking for the one scrap of fun in this soulless conveyor-belt game, trying to dull the boredom.
I don’t know what Tinkle Position will put out next, but I can already picture it.

Same sisters, endless onii-chans.
