Threadlocker

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon has a known defect: the screw in the top-right corner of the bottom cover won’t tighten.

At first I thought I’d stripped the threads, but then I looked it up — nope, it’s a common issue.

So I tried to figure out a way to get the screw to hold, and someone recommended this stuff.

In theory you’re supposed to drip it onto the threads, but the bottle’s too small to drip properly, so I just squeezed it straight into the hole.

After screwing it in, it still wouldn’t tighten…

But after half a day, the screw was stuck on there pretty solidly…

Honestly this is probably just glue, isn’t it? Not that it’s unusable.
