Fidget Pad
A fidget spinner is a spinner, a fidget cube is that stress-relief cube, so a fidget pad is naturally this thing…

What’s it good for… honestly nothing. Same purpose as the fidget cube from before — something to fiddle with in your hand, except shaped like a controller.
“Controller” undersells it, actually. Besides the standard stick and buttons, there’s a spring-loaded paddle on the side and a scroll wheel on the flank, all of them there to be fidgeted with. Which is pretty much the entire point of the thing.
Why’d I buy it? I stumbled on it while looking for a bigger battery for my handheld, and tossed it in to make the shipping worth it.

Yeah, the open-source handheld Retro Game. Someone dug up its matching old Nokia battery with a max capacity of 1500 mAh, popped it in, gave the handheld a new glass screen protector too — and that’s probably the end of the tinkering road.
