SkinStyler Touchpad Stickers

Was browsing around online and saw a place called SkinStyler that does custom touchpad stickers. They had a promo one day: $5 for a custom one, shipping included. The coating on the outside of my touchpad had worn into a visible ring, ugly as hell, so since you’re covering shipping, fine, I’ll order one.

Grab a ruler, measure your laptop’s touchpad size on their site, then send in a photo of your own touchpad, or a product photo works too — I’d suggest grabbing one from a review site, theirs are sharper than yours. Send it all in with the measurements, then pick your design. I went with solid black, since all I wanted was to hide that black ring anyway…

Two weeks later, an envelope showed up… and sure enough, that was it…

Applying it wasn’t hard, just followed the tutorial. Turned out way better than I expected. It’s got some kind of coating too, feels great, not like your average sticker.

They even threw in a card at the end — take a photo and send it back for a coupon. But I checked and that promo’s already over, and the current price is pretty steep. Not worth buying one on its own.

No idea when the next sale is.
