The O Fan SIM Card
I’ve got two phones. One runs on an ICBC Dream E card, the other on a China Telecom ifree plan — 3 yuan a month plus a 10 yuan data package.
And that China Telecom card? Never touching it again. No other reason: the signal is garbage.
No signal in the elevator, fine. But I lose it in the underground garage all the time, and after I walk out of the garage it takes forever to come back.
So I figured I’d just switch to a different card, and then I came across this O Fan card.

Alright, the full name is “OPPO Fan SIM Card,” but it’s not OPPO-exclusive — anyone can use it.
The pricing seems fine to me: 9 yuan a month, 1 GB of data included, and the rest is the standard free incoming calls and so on.
There are some OPPO perks too, but I don’t care about them. I don’t watch Bilibili or any of those domestic video livestreams, so those data-free SIM cards don’t interest me either. Weighing it all up, this OPPO one is actually the best option. If a YouTube-data-free card ever shows up I might consider it — though that feels pretty unlikely.
Oh right, this O Fan card is China Unicom, and the speed is rock solid (compared to China Telecom). [1]: https://plumz.me/usr/uploads/2018/07/787569468.jpg
