Xiaomi Laptop Sleeves

I’ve got two laptops (or maybe one of them counts as a tablet?), a ThinkPad X1 Carbon and a Surface Pro 4. One’s 13.3 inches, the other 12.5.

I’d been using a plain leather sleeve, but after a year it had gone all loose, so I decided to swap it out.

Then I spotted these Xiaomi ones, and it just so happens Xiaomi makes laptop sleeves in two sizes too:

No beating around the bush, here’s a quick rundown of how the sleeve is.

• Nice material, feels good in the hand
• The 12.5-inch takes the Surface Pro 4 with zero problems
• The 13.3-inch makes the ThinkPad X1 Carbon a tight squeeze — not that it won’t go in, you just have to work it in little by little

Personally I’m keeping both, because even though the 13.3-inch is tight, give it a while and it’ll probably stretch out and stop being an issue. The material’s good enough to be worth it.
