SkinAT Laptop Lid Stickers
Someone gave me this sticker, so might as well use it.
SkinAT is a domestic brand that mainly makes stickers and cosmetic skins for laptops and tablets. What I got was the cat-in-the-backyard design. I looked at their store on Taobao and they’ve got a lot of categories, plus custom options — full-body skins for MacBooks, partial stickers, that kind of thing.
Well, since I’ve got it, let’s stick it on and see.

After finishing, it actually looked pretty good:

Just as I was getting smug about it, the next day the problem showed up. The sticker I’d applied perfectly the day before suddenly started bubbling.

And this one too:

I asked the SkinAT people about it, and their after-sales was actually pretty enthusiastic. They gave me two options:
- Leave it alone and wait for the bubbles to disappear on their own.
- Peel it off and re-apply, smoothing it flat.
I chose to peel it off. You just have to be careful — customer service said the sticker is tough and won’t deform, but you still want to be gentle when lifting it.
They recommend using a sheet of A4 paper, slowly working it in from the edge to pry the sticker up.
I re-applied it one last time and felt pretty satisfied.
Overall, I’d still recommend buying it.
