Cooking: Poached Egg

Poaching an egg is simple or complicated depending on how you look at it. I gave it a try and it worked, so here’s what I learned.

- Put water in a pot and bring it to a boil over high heat
- You can add a little white vinegar to the water
- Once it’s boiling, turn off the heat right away
- Stir the water with a spoon to make a whirlpool
- Crack the raw egg into the center of the whirlpool
- Turn the heat back on, super low…
- Try stirring the whirlpool a bit, and once the egg is cooked and has set, scoop it out.

Honestly it’s pretty easy. Just try it a few times.
