Call me the pen-losing champion, because I lost the Lamy Alstar again. Damn it. At this point I don’t even dare take the Lamy 2000 out of the house. Lose that one and I can’t afford a replacement. So, buy something cheap. Try a different brand. Don’t feel like Lamy anymore — let’s go with Pilot. Word is they’re better suited to writing Asian characters. I got the Pilot 88g with an F nib. Been using it for a while now. And honestly? It’s even finer than I expected. As someone with ugly handwriting, this thing is even harder to wrangle.
