There’s a saying online: if you see something you want to buy but you’re hesitating because it’s too expensive, just buy it. If you see something really cheap but you’re not sure whether you’ll actually use it right away, don’t buy it. Thinking back on it, that’s pretty much how it goes. Something you urgently need, no matter how expensive, you’ll be holding it every day once it arrives. Cheap impulse buys aren’t things you actually need, so they end up gathering dust. But as a spendthrift, buying a 9.9-yuan dust-gatherer is still forgivable, right?
